St Francis Animal Welfare is a registered charity (263172), established in 1953 and based at Sunnyside Cottage, Mortimer's Lane in Fair Oak, near Southampton.

We provide shelter and care for many animals, including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and gerbils, who await adoption. Click on the links below, under the 'Up For Adoption' heading, to see the animals waiting for homes now.

Our permanent residents include a donkey, ponies, deer, goats, chickens, geese and ducks. We also have about 30 resident cats, who are either too old or unsuitable for re-homing. Please click on the links below, under the 'Residents' heading, to see more photos and information on our residents, and how you can help us by sponsoring an animal house, or an individual animal.

We welcome any donations of animal food, and always need volunteers to keep the shelter going - whether it's helping out with the feeding of the animals, or assisting with fundraising. You can see our fundraising events taking place in the coming months by clicking here.
