Resident Cats

 Photo of resident cats

We have about 30 cats, which are permanently residing at St Francis.  They are unable to be adopted and homed for various reasons, ranging from having illnesses or being too old, and therefore needing ongoing care and treatment. They have their own private accommodation, with all the mod cons, including sofas, baskets, scratching and climbing posts, as well as their own outside run.

They are cared for and loved at the shelter, and many of them enjoy human company.  We would welcome cat-loving volunteers to come in and visit our residents mogs, just for a cuddle and some attention.

Alternatively, if you would like to sponsor the Cat House or an individual resident cat, to help us with the upkeep of vet's bills and feeding, please visit our Sponsor an Animal page. Some of our friendly cats are shown below:-
