Lapstone Pub Bank Holiday Fun Day - Monday 25 August 2008 - 12pm to 4pm
Another holiday event for all the family, held in the gardens of this local public house. Lots of amusements for children, BBQ and refreshments!
Autumn Open Day - Sunday 7 September 2008 2pm to 5pm - at our shelter
A great day out for all the family. Many amusements, games and stalls, a bouncy castle for the kids, as well as live music in our BBQ and refreshments area! You will get the chance to see the many animals needing new homes, as well as our permanent residents. We will also be announcing the winners of our Best Dog Photo Competition 2008 and Ben and Gemma's fantastic prize raffle.

We held a very successful stall at this local event, making the public aware of the animals currently needing new homes at our shelter.
Sunday 27 April 2008 - Fun Day and Dog Show - Barkrite Dog Training Club, Saffron Park, Allington Lane, Fair Oak - 11am to 4pm
Saturday 5 April 2008 at 1.00pm - Jumble Sale: The Ritchie Hall, Hursley Road, Chandlers Ford. Admission 30p

RIDE THE RIVERSIDE EGGSPRESS - Riverside Park, Bitterne - Saturday 22 March 2008 - 11am to 3pm
Thank you to everyone who supported us by visiting our stall at the Riverside Eggspress family event.
Unfortunately, the windy weather meant that volunteers Alison and Wendy had to pack up earlier than expected, or face the risk of their stall being blown into the river!! We found out later that the gazebo next to ours took off over a hedge after we had left!
We'll hope for better weather at our next event!

Saturday 9 February 2008 - Rainbow Stars Variety Show at Thornden Hall, Winchester Road, Chandlers Ford. Matinee at 2.30pm and Evening Show at 7.30. Adults £7.50 - Concessions £5.
The Nightingale School of Dance has kindly promised St Francis a donation, in the form of a percentage of all tickets sales.
UPDATE - The School Principal very kindly sent us a total of £50, raised from ticket sales of their show! Thank you to everyone involved in the show, who helped to raise this money !
