Autumn Open Day 2010
Because this year's Summer Open Day was cancelled we are making an extra effort to ensure that the Autumn Open Day will be better than ever and is taking place on Sunday 19th September 2010 from 12 noon to 4pm at the shelter.
There will be many stalls, entertainment for the kids (face painter, and games) as well as food, refreshments and live music. You will also have the chance to win some fantastic prizes in our raffles. We will be introducing many other activities to keep everyone happy.
We have a lovely garden and barbeque area, where visitors can enjoy a drink and some food, while listening to our live music.
There is also the chance to visit all our animals - those available for adoption as well as the permanent residents who are available for sponsorship. Visitors can feed our goats, Nancy, Charlie Brown and Barley, and chat along with our Cockatoos, who are always very excited to have an audience!
Entrance is always free for our Open Days, but donations of pet food are always welcome, and a collection box will be placed at our front gate.
