Ten Little Kittens!
All of a sudden, we have found ourselves overrun with kittens, after 10 of them were brought in one go! Most of them are pictured below.

We already had 9 kittens in the shelter, so this has really stretched our rescources!
Our mum and kitten unit was already full to the brim, with 3 pregnant cats, and two mums and their litters. We have also recently had two more pregnant cats brought in.
Some of the kittens are still too young to be rehomed (including the 10 brought in recently), so they will be staying with us, for special care and attention, until they are old enough to be adopted.

However, we can take reservations on most of the other kittens in our care, which will be ready for adoption soon, and we would welcome you to come along and see them for yourself. You can see more photos and information on them on our Cats for Adoption page.
Please note that we cannot take any reservations over the telephone, and would ask you to visit the shelter to see them, and find out more about them all. We rehome all our kittens in pairs, wherever possible, so they always have a playmate on hand!
UPDATE: July 2007
We are happy to confirm that all 10 of our little kittens have now been reserved for adoption, and will leave the shelter as soon as they have been deemed fit and healthy enough. Not only were our little kittens too young for instant re-homing, but they also had to be treated for worms and 'sticky eyes' on their arrival.
FURTHER UPDATE - 18 July 2007
Thanks to coverage by the Southern Daily Echo, we managed to successfully rehome all of our 10 kittens!
We still have many other kittens which are available for adoption now. You can see photos and information on them here.
