Stolen from St Francis!
Last week, someone visited our shelter and walked off with our emergency mobile phone! This is the mobile we use for emergency out-of-hours calls, in case we are needed to rescue an injured animal before or after our opening hours.
Our phone was a pink Nokia 6111, as shown in the photo below
Unfortunately, we also recently - in an unconnected incident - had some collection tins stolen! It is sad to think that members of the public have kindly donated towards helping the animals at our shelter, only for some heartless petty crook to help themselves to the cash!
And, as for our mobile phone .... we hope that there are no emergencies until we can acquire a new mobile. Does the person who stole our mobile phone realise that they could be directly responsible for an animal suffering, if we are unable to be contacted in case of an emergency!
If you suspect someone of stealing our phone, or collection boxes, then please do not hesitate to contact us!
However, we would like to offer the thief the chance to return the mobile phone to us, even if it is just posted to us anonymously! It is of no use to them now, as we have already put a block on both the phone and SIM card!
